Pre-LP Lamborghini Gallardo Intake H-Pipe
Intake H-pipe for the Pre-LP Lamborghini Gallardo, developed to give the induction sound a higher, smoother tone.

At full throttle, the Gallardo has a deep induction noise that sounds roughly half the frequency of an exhaust fitted with an X-pipe.
The intake H-pipe was developed to explore whether an intake crossover could produce a similar acoustic effect to an exhaust X-pipe, with the goal of a higher, smoother induction note.
Testing produced a higher-pitched, smoother intake sound, perceived as approximately an octave higher.
